10 Palestinians killed in Israeli military offensive in northern West Bank

Jordan Daily – The Israeli military launched a large-scale operation in the northern West Bank early Wednesday, resulting in the deaths of 10 Palestinians, according to the Palestinian Red Crescent.

The assault comes as Israel continues its war on Gaza and conducts operations along its border with Lebanon, which have been ongoing since October.

The Palestinian Red Crescent confirmed that 10 Palestinians were killed during the operation in the occupied West Bank. Among the dead were three Palestinians who were killed when an Israeli drone struck a vehicle in the village of Sir, southeast of Jenin.

The Palestinian news agency WAFA reported that a significant number of Israeli military vehicles entered Jenin from the Jalameh checkpoint, advancing towards the vicinity of Jenin Governmental Hospital. Another military force was reported to have positioned itself near Ibn Sina Hospital, leading to clashes with local residents.

This latest escalation adds to the already heightened tensions in the region, as the Israeli military continues to engage in multiple fronts, including ongoing war in Gaza and along the volatile Lebanese border.
