Jordan Daily – A total of 280,000 people have received the booster shot of the COVID-19 vaccines, the Ministry of Health revealed on Sunday.
Adviser at the Prime Ministry for epidemiological affairs ,Adel Balbisi, said that the increased demand on vaccinations is “promising,” stressing the need to receive the third booster shot for those who had received the second dose three months earlier to raise their immunity , especially against the coronavirus variant, Omicron.
The ministry, he indicated, is conducting tests on a large number of citizens to asses the epidemic curve, and enforce any measures needed to preserve the health of Jordan’s population.
