Jordan Daily – Jordanian Seismological Observatory, Director Ghassan Sweidan reported that a 4.0 magnitude earthquake struck the Gulf of Aqaba on Thursday.
According to the observatory, the earthquake occurred 60 kilometers south of Aqaba at a depth of 19 kilometers. The tremor was recorded at 2:42 p.m.
