55 protesters released so far, more to follow, says Interior Ministry

Jordan Daily – The Governor of the Amman, Yasser Al-Adwan, released 15 detainees today, Saturday, who were held in connection with protests near the Israeli embassy.

These protests took place during the second half of the month of Ramadan and saw thousands of demonstrators gather at the Kaluti Mosque to protest against Israeli aggression and express solidarity with the people of Gaza .

The total number of detainees released recently, including those freed today, stands at 55.

Informed sources within the Ministry of Interior confirmed that work is still ongoing to review the files of the remaining detainees, with plans for their gradual release.

The sources did not provide a specific timeline for these releases.
