7,000 Jordanians visit Syria in less than a month

Jordan Daily – The number of Arabs who have visited Syria since mid-last month has reached 9,000 visitors , according to the Syrian newspaper Al-Watan.

The newspaper reported that around 7,000 visitors were Jordanians , while the remaining 2,000 were Arabs.

The Syrian newspaper quoted a source who stated that the movement at the border crossing has remained smooth so far, noting that there has been a significant increase in arrivals to Syria since the middle of last month, leading to a considerable number of incoming visitors.
