ADFICO charts a path for smart, sustainable food Manufacturing- CEO Bashiti

Jordan Daily – Mr. Ghazi Bashiti, Chief Executive Officer of Arabian Development for Food Industries (ADFICO), discussed in an interview with Jordan Daily, the company’s strategic evolution from its establishment in 1999 to becoming a trusted industrial partner for leading regional and international brands

Over more than two decades, ADFICO has built a strong reputation grounded in operational excellence, adherence to global quality standards, and a steadfast commitment to innovation and customer trust.

Mr. Bashiti highlighted in the interview the company’s expanding global presence, with ADFICO’s products now reaching markets across the Middle East, Europe, and North America. He also underscored the company’s forward-looking strategy focused on smart manufacturing, sustainability, and the development of healthy and natural food lines designed to meet the evolving demands of international consumers and reinforce ADFICO’s position as a Jordanian leading company in private-label food manufacturing.

JD – Since its establishment in 1999, Arabian Development for Food Industries (ADFICO) has come a long way. Looking back, what were the key milestones or turning points that most shaped the company into what it is today?

Ghazi Bashiti – Since ADFICO’s founding in 1999, we set a clear goal – to become a trusted industrial partner for leading local and global brands. During the first decade, we focused on expanding our production capabilities and implementing international quality systems, enabling us to meet the needs of major companies seeking reliable manufacturing partners.

With the beginning of regional expansion, we became one of the first Jordanian manufacturers to offer Private Label services at standards that rival global companies – a major turning point in our journey.
Today, we proudly look back at this phase, built on commitment, trust, and long-term partnerships with our clients and suppliers.

JD – You have always emphasized the importance of quality, from the earliest stages to the final product. How does ADFICO ensure it meets this commitment to quality while keeping up with innovation and efficiency?

Ghazi Bashiti – For us, quality is not just a slogan – it is a core organizational culture. We start by carefully selecting the finest raw materials from trusted local and international suppliers. Every stage of production is monitored through advanced traceability and control systems, followed by rigorous testing in our certified laboratories before the product reaches consumers.

We also continuously upgrade our production lines to enhance efficiency and maintain our core philosophy: Quality + Innovation + Efficiency.
To reaffirm our dedication to safe, high-quality products, we proudly hold international certifications including ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, and Halal.

JD – Today, your products reach markets across the Middle East, Europe, and even the United States. How would you describe this global journey, and how do you ensure that ADFICO products meet the tastes and expectations of consumers in these diverse markets?

Ghazi Bashiti – Our global reach is the result of our commitment to international standards and diverse production capabilities.We manufacture for clients across various markets, each with its own unique tastes and requirements. That’s why we continuously develop product recipes and packaging tailored to each market’s preferences – in flavor, design, and presentation.

ADFICO is fully equipped to obtain any food certification required for export to global markets.
Thanks to this diversity and flexibility, ADFICO has become a trusted partner for several major brands that export their products to the Middle East, Europe and the United States.

JD – Your company produces both your own brands and private-label products for other companies. How do you balance maintaining your brand identity while meeting the needs of your partners?

Ghazi Bashiti – This balance is one of the key secrets behind our success. We believe that the true value of contract manufacturing lies in the ability to understand and respect the identity of each brand.

We have dedicated teams that manage each project individually to ensure complete alignment with the client’s brand identity -from ingredients to packaging design.Through this approach, we ensure that every product stands out with its own unique character while maintaining the technical excellence and quality that define ADFICO.

JD – Looking ahead, what are the next steps or future goals for ADFICO? Are there new technologies, directions, or ambitious projects you plan to pursue in the coming years?

Ghazi Bashiti – We are preparing for a new phase of growth focused on smart and sustainable manufacturing.
Our current efforts are directed toward integrating automation and artificial intelligence technologies for quality monitoring and production optimization – enabling us to meet the growing demand from our international partners.We are also developing new product lines for healthy and natural foods , reflecting the global shift toward wellness-focused consumption.

Our goal is for ADFICO to remain the leading industrial partner in the region for private-label manufacturing – continuously representing Jordanian industry with excellence, innovation, and quality.
