Jordan Daily – The Royal Jordanian Air Force scrambled jets in response to unidentified aerial movements detected by radar over the northern borders of the Kingdom, according to an official spokesperson for the Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF).
The spokesperson confirmed that the Jordanian airspace was secure and there were no threats identified. The aircrafts returned to their bases following the operation.
The Armed Forces urge citizens to refrain from spreading rumors that could cause public anxiety and to seek information from reliable sources.
This statement comes after Syrian media reported a suspected Jordanian air strike near the Nasib border crossing with Jordan.
