
Jordan Daily – Al-Kindi Hospital hosted the first scientific day of the Society of Jordanian Neurological Surgeons (SJNS) on Wednesday, with around 70 physicians attending the event at the hospital’s main conference centre.
Dr. Hussein Al-Abadi, president of the society and a consultant neurosurgeon, opened the event by highlighting the importance of continued scientific engagement to support professional development and knowledge sharing.
The programme included several specialist lectures:
- Dr. Nidal Al-Khasawneh delivered a presentation on brain neuroendoscopy.
- Dr. Badr Obeidat spoke on targeted endoscopic spine procedures.
- Dr. Mohammad Nouman presented on transforaminal lumbar endoscopic surgery.
Medical equipment firm Al-Saif Technology also delivered a presentation outlining the company’s recent activities and product offerings.
Al-Kindi Hospital is a general medical facility offering services across multiple specialties, including bariatric and cosmetic surgery, vascular surgery, fertility treatment, interventional radiology, cancer screening, and organ transplantation. The hospital operates 11 major operating theatres and a dedicated emergency department equipped with modern technology and ambulances.
