Jordan Daily – Al-Kindi Hospital took part in the 2025 “Day of Change” initiative on Wednesday, coinciding with the World Patient Safety Day launched by the World Health Organization, under the theme “Our Children’s Health, Our Responsibility.”
The hospital organized activities across departments focused on teamwork, patient-centered care, and improving service quality. Initiatives included free pediatric clinics, awareness campaigns, educational materials for parents, and guidance on child care and preventive health measures. Emergency services prioritized rapid care, while patients’ feedback and treatment suggestions were collected via the hospital’s electronic system. Additional services included pharmaceutical consultations, laboratory guidance, customized dietary plans under nutritionist supervision, and enhanced sterilization protocols.
“These initiatives aim to encourage staff to enhance patient care, involve patients in treatment plans, and strengthen the hospital’s commitment to high-quality healthcare,” the hospital said in a statement.
Al-Kindi Hospital, a private facility, offers a broad range of medical specialties, including bariatric and cosmetic surgery, vascular procedures, fertility treatments, stone fragmentation, interventional radiology, cancer detection, organ transplants, cardiac catheterization and open-heart surgery, gastrointestinal endoscopy, and 12 operating rooms for major surgeries.
