Jordan Daily – The Jordanian Universities Network has elected Prof Ala’adeen Al-Halhouli, President of the German Jordanian University, as the Chairman of its Board of Directors.
The decision was made during the network’s recent meeting at the University of Jordan, following the General Assembly meeting and in the presence of representatives from official Jordanian universities, as well as the Executive Director of the Network, Dr. Saleh Shariyah.
In addition to Dr. Al-Halhouli’s appointment, Prof. Nazir Obeidat, President of the University of Jordan, was elected as Vice President, while Prof. Dr. Salama Al-Naimat, President of Mutah University, joined as a member of the board.
The Jordanian Universities Network, established in 2003, is a non-profit company for the official Jordanian universities. Its primary objective is to develop and operate an advanced communication and information network that serves its members, higher education institutions, and scientific research centers.
