Jordan Daily – Ambassador Yousef Bataineh, presented his credentials to King Philippe of Belgium on Thursday, formally accrediting him as Jordan’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Belgium.
In a ceremony held at the Royal Palace in Brussels, Bataineh conveyed the greetings of King Abdullah II to King Philippe, along with his wishes for continued prosperity for the Belgian people.
King Philippe, in turn, asked Bataineh to extend his greetings and appreciation to King Abdullah II, praising the King’s wise leadership. King Philippe also expressed the government’s interest in strengthening bilateral relations with Jordan, wishing the kingdom and its people ongoing progress and prosperity.
The ceremony was attended by senior officials from the Royal Palace and representatives from Belgium’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
