Jordan Daily – Mayor of Greater Amman Municipality (GAM), Dr. Yousef Shawarbeh, met with German Ambassador to Jordan, Dr. Bertram von Moltke, on Sunday to discuss bilateral relations between Amman and Berlin and explore ways to enhance cooperation in various fields.
During the meeting, which was attended by Amman City Manager Engineer Ahmad Malkawi, the German ambassador praised the level of development Amman has achieved across different sectors, according to a GAM statement.
He also expressed, the German government’s readiness to strengthen collaboration and exchange expertise.
The German government, through its development agency ,GIZ, has been supporting several projects by the Greater Amman Municipality, particularly in green infrastructure, climate protection, resource management, and waste sorting, .
