Jordan Daily – Amman recorded a high temperature of 29 degrees Celsius at 3 p.m. on Sunday, marking the capital’s coolest start to September in 13 years, according to Arabia Weather.
The last time a similarly low temperature was recorded on Sept. 1 was in 2011, when the high reached 28.2°C.
Jordan has been under the influence of a moderate and cooler-than-usual air mass, causing temperatures to dip below their seasonal averages across the country. Forecasters expect this cooler trend to persist in the coming days.
