Jordan Daily – Amman Mayor Yousef Shawarbeh has issued a directive halting the issuance of business licenses for establishments classified as “tourist restaurants” under the categories of nightclubs, bars, discos, or for businesses operating as wedding halls or event venues in local commercial zones.
The ban will remain in place until the Greater Amman Municipality Council issues a decision, in accordance with Article 16(d) of the Building and Zoning Regulations for Amman, Regulation No. 28 of 2018 and its amendments.
