
Jordan Daily – Jordan will participate in a meeting in Cairo, Egypt, on Saturday, alongside Egypt, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE at the foreign ministers’ level, with the presence of the Secretary-General of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization.
The meeting will be attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Aty, Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, Secretary-General of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization Hussein Al-Sheikh, and Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit.
According to sources, the ministers will discuss regional developments, particularly efforts to maintain the ceasefire in Gaza and ensure the sustainable delivery of humanitarian aid across the region.
They will also address the need to support the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) and enable it to fulfill its mandate.
