Jordan Daily – Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Ahmed Al-Hunaiti reaffirmed that the Jordanian Armed Forces continue to enhance their defensive and security capabilities by utilizing all available resources and upgrading equipment and weaponry, in addition to ongoing and effective training. The goal is to boost the efficiency and skills of military personnel in maintaining the security and stability of the Kingdom.
Al-Hunaiti made these remarks on Sunday while inspecting the 9th Royal Border Guard Battalion , part of the Northern Military Zone. He was received by the zone’s commander.
Hunaiti was briefed on the operational, training, and logistical activities within the region, as well as the duties performed by its formations and units, particularly Border Guard Brigade 2 and its role in securing the borders and preventing smuggling and infiltration within its area of responsibility.
