Jordan Daily – The Jordan Armed Forces–Arab Army (JAF) on Sunday it intercepted two separate drug smuggling attempts using a drone and remote-controlled balloons along its southern and eastern borders.
A military statement said border guards downed a drone carrying narcotics from the western front of the southern border and seized remote-controlled balloons with guidance systems near the eastern frontier.
The army said the operations were coordinated with security agencies and the Anti-Narcotics Department.
The Jordan Armed Forces reaffirmed readiness to counter infiltration and protect the Kingdom’s security.
