Jordan Daily - Jordan has temporarily banned entry for travelers arriving from the Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda for 30 days starting May 20, 2026, due to concerns over the spread of Ebola, the Interior Ministry said on Tuesday.

The restriction, recommended by the Health Ministry, exempts Jordanian citizens and follows a meeting involving health authorities, the national epidemics center and the World Health Organization to assess preventive measures.

Officials said the move was taken under Jordan’s public health law to prevent the entry and spread of infectious diseases, adding that the epidemiological situation would be reviewed continuously.
