Jordan Daily - Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities on Saturday welcomed the United Kingdom's decision to update its travel advice for British nationals visiting Jordan, saying the move confirms the country's safety and stability and strengthens its position as an attractive destination for international tourists.
The ministry said the updated British guidance reclassified most areas of Jordan as safe for travel, reflecting the high levels of security and stability enjoyed by the kingdom.
In a statement, the ministry said the British Embassy in Amman had encouraged British citizens to return to Jordan for tourism and investment purposes, urging prospective visitors to follow updates published on the UK government's official website and make use of available consular services and support.
The ministry described the decision as a positive indicator that is expected to enhance confidence among European markets in Jordan as a tourist destination and support the country's tourism sector.
