Jordan Daily -The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Amman hosted the Indonesian Tourism Seminar, Discover Indonesia: Jakarta and West Java Tourism Showcase yesterday at the Signia by Hilton Amman, reaffirming Indonesia's commitment to strengthening tourism cooperation with Jordan. The seminar brought together Indonesian and Jordanian Tour Operator to explore new business opportunities and expand partnerships between the two countries' travel industries.
Attending this event from West Java and Jakarta Province are the Tourism and Culture Office of West Java Province, the Tourism and Creative Economy Office of Jakarta Province, Marintur Indonesia, Zahra Tour (Association of Indonesian Recreation Parks), Fokus Indonesia Tours, Rex Tours Indonesia (ASTINDO), Nuansa Mandiri Tours, and Exotic Java Trails. Also in attendance was the President of the Jordan Indonesia Business Council, Mr. Suhail Saidi, alongside representatives of Jordanian tour operators, travel agencies, and tourism industry stakeholders.

In his opening remarks, the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Jordan and Palestine, H.E. Mr. Ade Padmo Sarwono, emphasized that the seminar reflects the strong and growing tourism relations between Indonesia and Jordan. He expressed hope that the event would generate greater collaboration between the two governments while fostering new business-to-business (B2B) partnerships between Indonesian and Jordanian tour operators, ultimately contributing to increased tourist exchanges between the two countries.

The seminar showcased Indonesia's diverse tourism offerings beyond its well-known destinations, with a particular focus on Jakarta and West Java. Participants were introduced to the unique attractions of both provinces, ranging from breathtaking natural landscapes and rich cultural heritage to vibrant culinary experiences, shopping destinations, and historical sites. Through the presentations, the Embassy highlighted Indonesia's commitment to promoting a wider range of destinations to the Jordanian market while encouraging the development of new tourism packages tailored to Middle Eastern travelers.

Following the seminar, participants visited exhibition booths hosted by the participating Indonesian tour operators, providing an opportunity for direct discussions on potential tour packages, business cooperation, and market opportunities. The event concluded with a networking dinner, while the Indonesian tourism delegation continued its program in Jordan with a series of business matching meetings with local travel companies on the following day to further strengthen commercial partnerships.
