He said fibre had become the dominant fixed broadband technology, while demand for data services continued to grow across fixed and mobile networks. He also cited the rapid expansion of 5G adoption as evidence that Jordan was building the foundation for next-generation digital applications and innovation.
Adwan indicated declining use of SMS and fixed voice services reflected a structural shift toward internet-based communications, adding that the latest indicators highlighted “the importance of evidence-based regulation in supporting investment, innovation, and sustainable digital growth.”
