Jordan Daily - Al-Kindi Hospital has highlighted its “Doha Operating Room,” a specialized surgical facility equipped for complex neurosurgery, orthopedic, spine, joint and sports injury procedures.
Operating Room No. 6, named after the Qatari capital, is fitted with advanced medical technology, including a surgical microscope, modern endoscopic systems, a mobile C-ARM imaging unit, specialized operating tables and advanced patient monitoring equipment.
The facility supports a wide range of procedures, including joint replacement and arthroscopy, fracture repair, ligament and meniscus injuries, minimally invasive spine surgery, as well as brain, nerve and skull base operations.
The hospital said the operating room was designed in line with international quality and infection-control standards and is supported by specialized anesthesia and intensive care teams who monitor patients before, during and after surgery.
Al-Kindi Hospital has 12 fully equipped operating rooms, each named after Arab, international and Jordanian cities and landmarks, including Riyadh, Doha, Kuwait, Dubai, Petra, Wadi Rum, Jerash, Hamburg and London.
The naming concept is intended to create a sense of familiarity and reassurance for patients and visitors from different countries, with symbolic images of the respective locations displayed inside the rooms.
Al-Kindi Hospital is a private, multi-specialty medical facility offering a range of services, including bariatric and cosmetic surgery, vascular surgery, fertility treatment, organ transplantation, cardiac procedures, interventional radiology and emergency care.
