Jordan Daily - Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship Sami Smeirat visited Jordanian company MyThings to review its digital technology and logistics operations, including its role in last-mile delivery and quick commerce, the company said.
Sameirat met the company’s management team, including Chairman Khalid Saif, Chief Executive Officer Assem Awad, Chief Operating and Logistics Officer Abdulrahman Arafat, Chief Commercial Officer Mohammad Al-Aqqad and board member Diaa Abu Mahfouz.

The meeting covered the company’s achievements, future plans, expansion strategy and challenges as it seeks to adapt its business model to changes in the digital economy and meet the needs of the Jordanian market.

MyThings highlighted its focus on locally developed technology and expertise, saying it is fully Jordanian-owned and operates a national customer service and communications centre staffed by local talent.

The company said its operating model aims to improve the user experience, increase logistics efficiency and create jobs while developing Jordanian skills in digital and operational fields.

The management team also outlined plans to continue developing digital solutions and maintain reliable delivery services under changing conditions, while supporting the needs of customers and business partners.

During the visit, Smeirat toured the company’s departments, reviewed operational procedures and services, and spoke with employees about their work.
