Jordan Daily - EuroCham Jordan has honored Dr Anwar Obeidat for his service as secretary of the organisation’s first Board of Directors in 1995, during its Extraordinary General Assembly.
The recognition marked Obeidat’s contribution to the early foundations of the organisation, which has continued to develop its role in strengthening economic and business relations between Jordan and Europe.
Reflecting on the honor, Obeidat said it carried special significance, linking his early involvement in the institution with its subsequent growth and development.
He said the recognition was not simply a tribute to a position he had held in the past, but an acknowledgment of his role in the institution’s formative years.
The period since 1995 has demonstrated how institutions evolve over time and how relationships built in their early stages can contribute to broader economic and business cooperation, Obeidat said.
He expressed gratitude for the recognition and for the trust placed in him during his tenure and throughout the years that followed.
