As Jordanians grappling with heatwave, temperatures could break records

Jordan Daily – Raed Al-Khattab, Director General of the Meteorological Department, highlighted that Jordan is presently grappling with a heatwave that has the potential to set new temperature records across all governorates tomorrow, Sunday.

Today, temperatures reached 45°C in Azraq, 43°C in Amman, and 41.2°C in Aqaba, Al-Khattab stated.

Al-Khattab remarked, “There’s a possibility of temperature records being broken in Amman tomorrow.”
