Jordan Daily – The Azm Party, a new political force in Jordan, announced on Monday that it has gained the support of several trade unions, including : the Electricity Union, Water, Agriculture and Food Industries , Wholesale and Retail Trade , Construction , Public Services and Free Professions , Air Transport and Tourism , Printing and Paper , and the Ports and Clearance Unions.
The party’s secretary-general, Engineer Zaid Naffa, said the move reflected Azm’s commitment to improving the working conditions, living standards and wages of Jordanian workers, as well as creating more jobs in the country.
Fakhri Al-Ajarmeh, the head of the Electricity Union, said he joined Azm because he believed in its national agenda and its vision for change.
