Jordan Daily – Deputy Mohammad Musa Al-Ghuwairi hosted a meeting of the Azm Party, a new political force, at his home, in Zarqa on Thursday, where the party’s secretary-general outlined its economic vision and called for national reforms.
Engineer Zaid Naffa, who heads the party that has been launched recently , said future governments should adopt policies that would boost investments, education, health care and other key sectors, and steer the economy away from “shy quotas”.
He also said the party aims to foster a Jordanian identity that would unite all citizens under a common umbrella, and to address the challenges of energy and water scarcity that have strained the country’s resources.
Naffa added the party would not make unrealistic promises that would disappoint voters, and stressed the need for integrity and transparency in political work.
The meeting was attended by several current and former deputies, senators , dignitaries and supporters of the party, which advocates to represent the middle class and the youth.
