Jordan Daily – The Azm Party welcomed a decision by the International Court of Justice (ICJ) on Friday that gave it jurisdiction to hear a case brought by South Africa accusing Israel of genocide in the Gaza Strip.
The party’s secretary-general, Zaid Naffa, said the ICJ ruling is a victory for justice and human rights and an important step to redress the Palestinian people who face a brutal Israeli aggression.
He also praised Jordan’s King Abdullah for his steadfast support for the Palestinian cause and his efforts to end the Israeli offensive on Gaza and provide humanitarian aid to the besieged enclave.
Naffa urged the international community to act swiftly to stop the Israeli attacks and protect the Palestinian civilians from genocide and forced displacement.
