Azm Party’s Zaid Naffa launches 42nd Arab Volleyball Championship in Amman

Jordan Daily – Zaid Naffa, the Secretary-General of the Azm Party inaugurated on Tuesday at the Princess Sumaya Hall in Al Hussein Youth City, Amman the 42nd Arab Men’s Volleyball Clubs Championship.

The event, marked by the attendance of Arab ambassadors and key figures from the sports community, commenced with the Jordanian national anthem and included tributes to fallen soldiers of the Jordanian Armed Forces – Arab Army and Palestinian innocent victims.

The ceremony featured speeches by Dr. Yusuf Daoud, head of the organizing committee, and an oath taken by captain of Shabab Al-Hussein team.

Zaid Naffa, addressing the media, highlighted the event’s role in fostering Arab unity and advancing Jordan’s sports and youth sectors.

The tournament, which concludes on February 28, sees 12 Arab clubs vying for the title, under the patronage of Princess Aya bint Faisal and the support of King Abdullah II.
