Jordan Daily – Electronic Health Solutions, said it has elected engineer Bashar Arafeh as chairman of its board, representing the Royal Health Awareness Society, succeeding Dr. Rami Farraj, as it advances its digital transformation strategy.
The move comes as the company expands its national “Hakeem” program, a flagship initiative to digitise healthcare services and establish a unified electronic medical record system across medical facilities in Jordan.
Electronic Health Solutions is working to broaden the program’s reach by linking additional institutions into an integrated digital network aimed at improving data accuracy, accelerating access to patient information and supporting evidence-based decision-making.
Arafeh brings more than three decades of experience in telecommunications, information technology and digital infrastructure. He previously held senior leadership roles at Zain Group and led Wind Mobile’s operations in western Canada.
He said enhancing integration between technology and healthcare services would be a strategic priority to support a more efficient and sustainable health system.
