Jordan Daily – Nart Bouran, a veteran media executive and former CEO of Sky News Arabia, has been named director of media and communication at the Royal Hashemite Court, effective Feb. 1, 2024.
Bouran, who has a bachelor’s degree in international relations from Syracuse University in the United States, has held various senior positions in the media industry across the Middle East and beyond.
He was most recently the CEO of the International Media Investments company in the United Arab Emirates, a role he held from 2020 to January 2024.
Before that, he led Sky News Arabia, a joint venture between Abu Dhabi Media Investment Corporation and Sky, from 2011 to 2018. He also served as senior vice president for program and news development at the Middle East Broadcasting Network (MBN).
Earlier in his career, he worked as a correspondent and regional editor for Reuters TV, covering the Middle East and Africa. He also managed the news center at Abu Dhabi Television and was the general manager of the Jordan Radio and Television Corporation.`
