Jordan Daily – Three Israelis were killed Sunday in a shooting near the King Hussein Brigde (Allenby Bridge) border crossing, which links Jordan to the West Bank, according to Israeli media reports.
Israeli paramedics arrived at the scene and provided medical treatment to the victims, Channel 12 reported. Despite efforts to save the injured, they were pronounced dead shortly after being evacuated by helicopter to nearby hospitals, according to Walla news.
The shooter was reportedly killed at the scene.
Channel 7 said initial investigations suggest the shooter was a Jordanian truck driver who had entered the joint unloading area. The suspect allegedly concealed a firearm in his truck and opened fire on Israeli workers after approaching them.
