Jordan Daily – Cabinet agreed on Sunday to extend a previous decision to regularize the status of Syrian workers who are in breach of the kingdom’s labor laws, according to official statement.
The decision allows Syrian workers in factories that benefit from preferential trade terms with the European Union to work for another year, and those in other not permitted sectors to work for six months.
The statement noted the decision would be reviewed after the expiry of the specified periods.
