Jordan Daily – Rasmi Hamzeh, the CEO of Jordan Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Fund (JREEEF), has been named “Best Executive in Jordan and the Middle East” for 2025 by the UK-based Global Banking & Finance Awards.
The award recognizes Hamzeh’s leadership in advancing sustainable development initiatives in Jordan and the wider region.
In a statement, Hamza said the international recognition enhances the fund’s global visibility and opens opportunities for broader financing to support Jordan’s economy. He added that the accolade reflects the public sector’s move toward greater efficiency and institutional excellence.
The Global Banking & Finance Awards are presented annually and are based on rigorous evaluation by an expert panel, supported by international stakeholders. Two Jordanian commercial banks also won awards this year, highlighting the country’s regional leadership in governance and management.
JREEEF, which won the “Best Development Fund Jordan 2024” last year, aims to expand renewable energy and energy efficiency programs, supporting Jordan’s environmental sustainability and climate goals.
