Jordan Daily – Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah’s visit to the United Kingdom underscored Jordan’s drive to strengthen cooperation with global partners and promote innovation in line with King Abdullah II’s vision of a modern, knowledge-based economy, Helmi Alharahsheh, Chairman of the Jordanian Forum in the UK, said.
Alharahsheh stated in an article seen by Jordan Daily, that the Crown Prince held a series of high-level meetings with British officials, reaffirming Jordan’s commitment to collaboration in technology, security, education and sustainable development. The visit, he said, reflected the royal directives to invest in youth and build international partnerships that advance national development.
At the Jordan-UK Tech Connect Forum in London, the Crown Prince highlighted Jordan’s ambition to become a regional hub for innovation and entrepreneurship. “His Royal Highness emphasized that empowering youth with the tools of the future and encouraging global cooperation are key to strengthening the Jordanian economy,” Alharahsheh said.
He added that the Crown Prince’s focus on creating opportunities for young people demonstrates his belief that they are the driving force behind Jordan’s modernization and progress.
On the sidelines of the forum, the Crown Prince met members of the Jordanian community in the UK at the Jumeirah Carlton Hotel in London. “The meeting reflected warmth and national pride,” Alharahsheh said. “His Royal Highness expressed admiration for Jordanians abroad who present a positive image of their homeland, stressing that Jordan values its citizens everywhere.”
Alharahsheh said the Crown Prince’s message centered on partnership between Jordanians at home and abroad, noting that collective effort is the most effective path to prosperity.
“The visit carried a clear message: under King Abdullah’s leadership, supported by Crown Prince Al Hussein, Jordan is moving confidently toward the future – guided by its values, driven by its youth, and committed to peace, progress and service to humanity,” Alharahsheh stated.
He reaffirmed the Jordanian Forum in the UK’s commitment to supporting the Kingdom’s vision and contributing to its national development goals.
