Jordan Daily – The Cybercrime Unit has advised users of messaging applications, including WhatsApp and similar platforms, to regularly update their software to protect against potential security vulnerabilities.
The unit stressed that companies often address critical flaws through updates, and failing to install them may leave users exposed to threats.
Authorities also recommended linking accounts to a valid email address and enabling two-factor authentication (2FA) to enhance account security.
