Jordan Daily – The King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) has signed an agreement with the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Jordan to provide a medical equipment grant aimed at strengthening the infrastructure and quality of care at the King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC).

The agreement was signed in the presence of HRH Princess Ghida Talal, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of KHCF and KHCC.

Under the agreement, the Czech government will supply KHCC with a range of medical devices to support its treatment capabilities and improve the standard of cancer care provided in Jordan and the region.

Sylva Pavlasová Chargé d’Affaires at the Czech Embassy in Jordan, and Nisreen Qatamish, Director General of the KHCF, signed the agreement.

Qatamish emphasized the importance of international collaboration, stating that the partnership would make a tangible difference in the quality of services offered at the center and boost patients’ chances of successful treatment.

Pavlasova reaffirmed the Czech Republic’s commitment to supporting Jordan’s healthcare sector. “This donation aims to enhance the capacity of KHCC to accommodate the growing number of cancer patients,” she said, expressing admiration for the center’s medical staff and their dedication to delivering high-quality care.
