By : JD

Jordan Daily – A Royal Jordanian Airlines flight to London turned back to Queen Alia International Airport shortly after takeoff on Tuesday because of a disruptive passenger, the airline and the Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission said.

The passenger, who is of Arab nationality, started screaming and bothering other travelers on flight 111 RJ, which had left the airport less than an hour earlier, the commission’s head, Captain Haitham Misto said.

The airline said in a statement that the flight returned after about 25 minutes due to the passenger’s “abnormal behavior” and that it prioritized the safety and comfort of its passengers.
