Jordan Daily – The Jordanian Armed Forces intercepted a drone carrying narcotics on Monday, thwarting a smuggling attempt along the western front of the Southern Military Zone.
A military official said the drone was detected through surveillance and tracking, leading to its downing within Jordanian territory after engagement rules were applied. The confiscated narcotics were turned over to the relevant authorities.
The official stressed that the Jordanian Armed Forces are committed to using all available resources to prevent infiltration and smuggling operations to maintain the kingdom’s security and stability.
