Jordan Daily – Security forces responded swiftly on Tuesday to a report of a suspicious cardboard box found on a street in Abdoun , briefly unsettling residents.
The box, which had sparked concerns of a possible explosive device, was found to be empty, according to a statement from a security official.
Specialized units were dispatched to the scene and determined that the box contained only a few empty bags, with no threat present.
Earlier in the day, images and comments speculating about the contents of the box circulated widely, contributing to the alarm.
