Jordan Daily – Energy and Minerals Regulatory Commission (EMRC) said it received 534 licensing applications across various sectors in August, rejecting three in the oil and petroleum derivatives sector.
According to EMRC data published on its website, applications were distributed as follows: 315 in the radiation and nuclear sector, 42 in natural resources, 153 in oil and petroleum derivatives, and 24 in electricity and renewable energy.
Among the key applications were 12 requests for permits to operate public charging stations, one license application for a public charging station, 102 requests to operate central liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) facilities, one application to establish a fuel station, one to set up an LPG cylinder distribution agency, one to build an industrial fuel facility, and one exploration license request.
