Jordan Daily – A large explosion rocked a Hezbollah stronghold in the southern Beirut suburb of Dahiyeh on Tuesday evening, causing damage and casualties, local media said.
The cause of the explosion, which occurred near sweets shop in the Mashrifiya area, was not immediately clear, according to media reports.
Video footage and photos showed flames and smoke rising from the scene of the blast in the suburb, a bastion of the Iran-backed Shi’ite group.
