Jordan Daily – For the third consecutive year, Forbes Middle East has named Dr. Fawzi Al-Hammouri , the CEO and General Manager of the Specialty Hospital in Amman, among the Top Healthcare Leaders in the Middle East for 2025. The annual list highlights CEOs, founders, and investors shaping the region’s healthcare landscape for the coming decade.
Dr. Al-Hammouri expressed gratitude for the recognition, calling it a testament to the success of Jordan’s healthcare sector and the collaborative efforts of his colleagues at the Specialty Hospital and the Private Hospitals Association (PHA).
With over 30 years of leadership experience, Al-Hammouri has been a key figure in enhancing healthcare quality and promoting Jordan as a leading medical tourism destination. Under his management , the Specialty Hospital has become one of the region’s most accredited and awarded institutions, attracting patients from across the Arab world and beyond.
As Chairman of the PHA for multiple terms, Al-Hammouri played a central role in earning Jordan the title of Best Medical Tourism Destination in 2014 and in positioning the country as a regional hub for medical and wellness tourism in partnership with the UN World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) in 2023.
