Jordan Daily – Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi conveyed a message from King Abdullah II to President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Tuesday, expressing a commitment to deepening the strong ties between Türkiye and Jordan and enhancing coordination on critical regional issues.
The message also emphasized the importance of halting Israel’s military actions in Gaza, reducing regional tensions, and advocating for the Palestinian right to self-determination through the establishment of an independent, sovereign state- a goal viewed by both countries as essential for achieving lasting peace and stability.
During the meeting, President Erdogan sent his regards to King Abdullah and affirmed Türkiye’s commitment to bolstering cooperation with Jordan on a wide range of issues. He also reiterated his government’s dedication to supporting the Palestinian people and their aspirations, pledging to continue collaborative efforts to advance their legitimate rights.
As part of his official visit, Safadi held discussions with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and participated in a panel discussion titled “Global Diplomacy and the Future of Palestine,” which took place during the “Future of Palestine” conference.
