Jordan Daily – Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said it is closely monitoring the deaths of two Jordanian citizens who were recruited to fight with the Russian army.
Ministry spokesperson Fuad Al-Majali said the ministry is tracking attempts by foreign entities to illegally recruit Jordanians, calling the practice a violation of Jordanian and international law and a threat to citizens’ lives.
He urged the public to report any recruitment attempts and warned against engaging with such offers.
Al-Majali said Jordan has asked Russia to halt the recruitment of Jordanians and to end the service of any already enlisted.
The ministry also warned of online networks targeting Jordanians for foreign military service, saying it is coordinating with national institutions to take legal and diplomatic measures against those involved.
