Jordan Daily – Public Security Directorate (PSD) has arrested fraudsters who were collecting donations for Gaza under false pretenses, a security spokesman said on Tuesday.
The spokesman said the fraudsters had deceived people into believing that their donations would be sent as humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip , where Israel has been waging a deadly offensive for more than three months.
He urged citizens to verify the credibility and legitimacy of any donation campaigns for Gaza, and to report any suspicious or fraudulent activities to the emergency number 911.
