Jordan Daily – Egypt’s presidency announced on Saturday the possibility of a trilateral summit between Egypt, France, and Jordan during French President Emmanuel Macron’s visit to Egypt and the Sinai Peninsula.
According to a presidential spokesman, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi received a phone call from Macron on Saturday, during which they discussed the potential meeting.
Macron is expected to arrive in Cairo on Sunday evening and meet with Al- Sisi on Monday morning before traveling to El-Arish, a city located about 50 km from the Gaza Strip.
