Jordan Daily – Gaza’s economy has sustained an estimated $70 billion in direct losses over the past two years as Israeli bombardments have devastated key sectors, according to the government media office in Gaza.

A report from the media office said around 90% of the enclave’s infrastructure has been destroyed after 700 days of continuous conflict, severely impacting 15 vital sectors of the economy.

The office said Israeli forces have dropped roughly 125,000 tonnes of explosives on the coastal territory, resulting in near-total destruction of residential and public facilities.

According to the report, Israeli airstrikes are demolishing around 300 buildings each day, leaving nearly 90% of Gaza’s structures destroyed or damaged.
