Jordan Daily – The government is committed to preserving the security of the country and the safety of its citizens, according to Dr. Muhannad Mubaidin, the Minister of Communication and official spokesperson for the government.

In response to a question about the impact of Iranian-Israeli escalation on Jordan, Mubaidin said, “We have been clear, we will not allow ourselves to be a battlefield for anyone. We are closely monitoring the situation, and we have not detected any attempts to approach our airspace in the past few hours. This reassures us, and we hope everyone understands that this is a firm Jordanian position that must be dealt with.”

He added that life is proceeding normally and there is nothing to worry about in terms of the regularity of daily life and the workflow. He reiterated that the air sorties carried out by the Royal Jordanian Air Force are precautionary and will continue according to the circumstances and data assessed by the Jordanian Armed Forces.

Mubaidin urged everyone not to circulate rumors, adding, “We are in constant contact with the media, providing them with information as soon as it becomes available. The armed forces have issued two statements about the air sorties. The government has done the same. We want Jordanians to be reassured that everything we do is for the sake of preserving the security of the citizen and the homeland.”
