Jordan Daily – Prime Minister Dr. Jafar Hassan issued an official directive declaring Sunday, May 25, a public holiday to mark the kingdom’s 79th Independence Day.
All ministries, government departments, public institutions and authorities, state universities, municipalities, joint services councils, the Greater Amman Municipality, and government-owned companies will suspend operations on the day, according to the statement.
The directive excludes entities whose work nature requires otherwise, the statement added.
